3 Simple Steps To De-Puffing Your Face

Using a stone, like a jade roller, to massage your face can really help “stimulate the lymphatic system and lymphatic drainage throughout the face,” Jennifer Stoeckert, holistic facialist and creator of Minimal Beauty, says.

Dr. Jennifer Chwalek, M.D., a dermatologist at Union Square Laser Dermatology in New York, agreed that jade rollers can help with lymphatic drainage.

“Whenever there’s stagnant circulation or swelling at all in the face, massage can help that lymph fluid drain into the [proper] channels and away from around your eyes and certain areas where it tends to settle,” she said.

Glide the smooth stone inward and upward along your face and jawline, then down your neck, to push excess fluid away from your face.

To increase the impact and experience of your ‘roll out’, add a deep penetrating serum with quality ingredients and anti-inflammatory properties.

Cannabis Sativa Seed (Hemp) is a great anti-inflammatory ingredient making the Evio Revitalizing serum a great choice.

Using chilled remedies to get rid of a puffy face works fast and gives long-lasting results. Colder temperatures reduce swelling, which is part of the cause of a puffy eyed appearance. By reducing swelling, many people find their puffy eyes disappear altogether or have reduced. But don’t go reaching for a generic ice pack – New York-based dermatologist Dr. Marnie Nussbaum says that commercial packs are too bulky for this area and you have to be careful of potential chemical leaks.

Bye Bye Eye Bags eye masks use only safe, natural ingredients that are designed to rid your under eyes of puffiness, dark circles, and wrinkles. For extra de-puffing, store Bye Bye Eye Bags in the fridge and pop them on cold to reduce any swelling.

“Look for skincare and makeup products with caffeine in them,” says Mona Gohara, M.D., associate clinical professor at the Yale department of dermatology. “Caffeine is great at constricting blood vessels.” This prevents too much blood and fluid flow to the face, shrinking down puffiness.

Is smoking pot a direct cause of bags/puffiness under your eyes?

Does anyone know for CERTAIN whether or not smoking pot can directly cause you to get bags under your eyes, or would it just be another factor such as lack of sleep, etc? Is it a direct cause?

Is there any way that I can prevent it?

i think the problem with smoking pot is that it gives ur eyes a vacant look after some time through general tiredness and that spaced out thing people (and at one time me, do). although pot can put u to sleep, the sleep is not, from my point of view, wholesome; its rather like sleeping after a drinking binge but u dont really sleep. so in time bags will appear. and also pot affects everyone different and the effects of the drug are likely to disrupt sleep or the waking mind also, causing mental stress and such because u may find that u are unable to cope even though this is a denial to allow u to smoke more.

i know the severe downsides to the drug, for intance, i actually had epilepsy for 4 years until i stopped smoking it and now i dont have an attack since i stopped. but i believe the drug was a particpant in the cause of the illness so please stop or dont start, whichever is applicable. i dont want to be a scaremongerer but the drug can make u feel good or can have really adverse effects so its up to u.

i hope this helps 🙂

bilsav you just posted possibly the most retarded thing I have ever seen in my life. People say that pot makes you dumb, but I don’t think any drug can make someone as dumb as you. Wow. Marijuana doesn’t come from terrorists dumbass.

Just to let you know I take AP classes, lift weights, play football, and play the saxophone, along with smoking a lot of weed. So don’t tell me that potheads don’t accomplish anything. Weed has made my life better and made me a more positive person, so **** off. And learn how to write you moron.

One more thing to all you people who say that smoking weed causes lack of sleep. It doesn’t, it causes a gain in sleep. Or at least that’s my experience.

Anyway back to the question it can cause puffiness for some people. I would stop smoking for a few weeks and see if it’s any better. If not, it’s probably some other cause. If so, then see a doctor. Actually I would see a doctor either way.

Haha, pot usually makes people relaxed and even sleepy sometimes. Some people get paranoid I guess, which could cause a lack of sleep, but in my opinion those people just want attention, and don’t deserve to smoke weed. If you feel like it’s making you look bad then stop smoking. Otherwise pass that s***!

And if it’s true that it causes an early death, which I have never heard, I still don’t care. At least we aren’t hard asses, and we enjoy life and ALL of natures NATURAL good times!

Yes it is a direct cause when i was a younger lass i smoked the pot and i could not get rid of the bags under my eyes but after i stopped they just went away
