I first smoked Santa Marta Gold in 1976. Ir was the most trippy, psychedelic weed I have ever smoked in 40 years. Never had anything like it since about ’81. I have heard that is is because they let it completely ripen, tear a strip of stem from the bottom up, chop it when it turns gold and leave it in the sun to dry. I saw spirits in my friends and neighbors and talked to Jesus and His Angels. Best there ever was.

Uplifting high, nice lemon citrus taste. I smoked this and felt very creative, like I wanted to paint or play my guitar. Definitely a up and at it type of strain, first hit from the Bong left me breathless straight 🔥🔥🔥🔥.

Wow! i had one ounce of this, one time, back in 1975. I thought it was just a one-off thing, but apparently others have smoked it, as well. This was without a doubt, the best day-to-day weed I EVER had. The true mark of a real good outdoor grow is the color of the seeds. Just like another reviewer said, the weed was a blonde color, and the seeds were nearly black! Black, or very dark brown seeds, with a lot of black spotting are always the best weed. Occasionally, you’ll actually find some green weed with the dark, speckled seeds. And that, will probably be the best green weed you ever smoke. I can’t imagine what I would be willing to pay to get my hands on some authentic Colombian Gold!
