When generating a new world in Oxygen Not Included, you can enter a seed (by selecting Custom Game), which will determine what generates in the world.
Players can compile seeds and the properties of the worlds they generate here.
Note that when a new major update is released, it will change the result of generating worlds with these seeds.

The Mealwood Seed can be obtained by harvesting and uprooting Mealwood, or by digging up a Buried Object within the Temperate Biome. It grows into Mealwood when planted.

Mealwood Seeds can be planted in Planter Boxes, Farm Tiles, and Hydroponic Farms, and provide a source of Food for your Duplicants.
Meal Lice is produced when the plant grows to maturity.
Growth Requirements [ edit | edit source ]
A Mealwood Seed will grow in three Cycles, given that its environment meets the following conditions:
- Temperature: 10 to 30 °C
- Air Pressure: 150 g to 10 kg
- Dirt fertilizer: 10 kg / cycle
- Atmosphere: Oxygen, Polluted Oxygen, or Carbon Dioxide
