Basic / Breeders Info

Tangerine Kush is a mostly indica variety from Exotic Seeds and can be cultivated indoors (where the plants will need a flowering time of ±67 days ) and outdoors . Exotic Seeds’ Tangerine Kush is a THC dominant variety and is/was also available as feminized seeds.

Exotic Seeds’ Tangerine Kush Description

This variety belonging to one of our Kush family hybrids, is characterised for producing individuals were we find nearly orange and lemon scents interspersed with the strength of the scent of the mother Kush, which is noted in the final flavour. This is a hybrid with a medium-high yield, with an internodal distance that is accentuated during the flowering phase, we could say that its buds are grouped into lumps that appear around each plant node. Due to its columnar structure it is highly recommended for Sog type crops. The resin produced is of high quality, being really sticky, recommended for Bho type extractions, and its effect is powerful, with a rich flavour halfway between kush and sweet orange, being very enjoyable for smoking and suitable for moments where you do not have to do many things or activities that do not require much effort or concentration.

Average yield m²: 400-450 g
Flowering period: 9-10 weeks
Percentage Indica/Sativa: 70%-30%
Outdoor harvest: September

Nuggy – 28.09.2019

I got this strain as a free seed and after reading about it here, decided to give it a go.What a wonderful surprise it turned out to be.I grew that single seed as a mother and have taken two sets of clones off it so far.The clones rooted faster than any previous strain I’ve cloned and produced a much denser root structure than most other strains.

The clones were vegged under California Light Works 275 veg lights and finished under California Light Works 1100 UVBs in a Current Culture RDWC system. The stretch on these was insane.I vegged them a bit too high at 24 inches and they doubled in size. The second set, which are in flower now, were vegged to 20 inches, which has made them much more manageable. The structure shows large node spacing with a lot of single, rock hard, golf ball sized buds. The stems were very strong and able to support the buds with no additional support.Although predominately an indica, the buds and leaves showed it’s sativa influence. They were extremely light feeders, peaking at just over 300 ppm during week 5 of flower, making it one of the lightest feeders I’ve grown.Harvest was at 63 days.By that time all trics were cloudy with about 10% amber.Resin flow was insane and the smell and taste, heavenly.A combination of different citrus, lemon, orange with that kushy undertone. The yield was good. Not the highest but still very good, averaging over 5 ounces per plant. The quality of the smoke is excellent.A nice balance of head and body, clear headed, long lasting, and relaxing with little couch lock. All and all I would rate this strain very highly and will be growing more of it in the future.A nice addition to my strain rotation.

Fresh! Fruity! Orangey! SLOW-burning KUSH! Mmmnm Yeah, I Really like this One.. 😋

Not bad but not the best. Very heady on high. Liking sativas was good for me but just not the best. For conisuerers or whatever it’s spelled like myself it’s a must grab. Just the high not as great as others

This was the first strain that I smoked after years of abstinence. It sort of lacked a true buzz and head high, although it was fairly sedating to me. At least it wasn’t an annoying orange !

Three nice pulls off my bubbler, and I felt the day just melt away. Excellent, fruity taste. It might not be the highest in THC content, but it makes ya feel @ ease,w/o being overly powerful, and slamming you to the couch. I really like this one!

Having a nice, citrus flavor and orange hairs covering the bud, this strain is well named. Tangerine Kush has a potent, but short high. This strain is perfect for those who just want to kick back and chillax' on the couch. Despite being an Indica strain, the effects are felt mostly in the head, u…
